As a child school was what I looked forward to everyday. I was planning what college I would go to when most kids were playing tag. History, literature and science (non-tutoring) have been my passion for longer than I can remember. I had always had an interest in teaching though, and was able to take part in teaching overseas for several months in 2004. I never took employment as a full time teacher, however I am planning to get my license within the next two years.
My specialties are two-fold: 1) I have experience in Educational psychology and cross cultural communication 2) I have personal and professional experience working with people from many different backgrounds.

APPROACH TO TUTORING: My approach to tutoring is that everyone learns a little differently. The best way overall to learn a new skill however is repetition. By moving slowly and repeating the information over and over again people are more likely to remember it. Comprehension though comes from application of knowledge so creative problem solving is a must. Once you learn a persons style of learning these two factors may be implemented to achieve higher success rates
