GENERAL EXPERIENCE:     I am currently a postdoctoral associate working at the University of Minnesota. I recently received my Ph.D. In medicinal chemistry from the University of Kansas and am interested in helping students develop a better understanding of organic chemistry. My degree contained a strong emphasis in synthetic organic chemistry but I also have a strong background in biological chemistry.
APPROACH TO TUTORING:    I am an experienced organic chemistry tutor and my aim when tutoring is to help students understand the fundamentals of chemistry by answering the student's questions regarding homework problems, reading assignments, and exam questions in a personalized manner. By doing so, my goal is for the material to be fully understood by the student in as clear and precise manner as possible. During each session, I also try to provide real world examples when appropriate to help students get a firmer grasp on the fundamental aspects of chemistry.
