GENERAL EXPERIENCE: I have a broad background in chemistry from my undergraduate chemistry to my graduate work which was organometallic/inorganic based research. My strengths are in communicating
and understanding the principals of chemistry, analytical, synthetic (organic and inorganic) and spectroscopy. I have over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and have been involved from small scale design, design optimization to scale-up and process chemistry (thinking out of the box to optimize chemistry). My
strengths were design and purification in both organic and organometallic chemistry.
My experience in tutoring was when I was a graduate student. M tutored in both organic and general chemistry which included test prep.

APPROACH TO TUTORING: My style is one to work with the student, but the student must be responsible for understanding and solving the problems. I believe in laying down the ground work, design a
study plan (rxn based for organic...i.e. electron pushing) to help solve problems and to
tweak the plan for individuals.
I am patient, on time and have my own car.
