GENERAL EXPERIENCE: I have experience tutoring students in all subjects and all grade levels K-12. I have also been a beloved tutor in the Community Education program, where I also taught the remedial reading summer program, math, foreign language, and English. I have been a teacher for K and 1st Grade.

APPROACH TO TUTORING: If your child dreads going to their tutoring session, then you have the WRONG tutor. Boosting their confidence by starting where they are and showing them that they CAN do it, brings back a child's natural love of learning. Individual tutoring allows the teacher to integrate things the child is interested into the lessons so that the student stays interested. I get so excited about learning that the student can't help but get excited with me!
