GENERAL EXPERIENCE: My love for helping people, students in particular, is what prompted me to become a math teacher. After spending a year in the public school system, I found I was not able to give students the help they so badly needed in that environment, which is why I love tutoring! I have tutored both junior high and high school students, as well as college students. I try to share the "tricks" I used to become good at math with the students with which I work.

APPROACH TO TUTORING: I believe that all students can benefit from one on one tutoring, whether they struggle with math or if it comes easily to them. Being able to give students focused attention enables me to find any underlying problems, as well as answer questions. I believe that everyone CAN do math, it just takes some creativity to find the best way to learn the subject. Each student has a different learning style, and my goal is to find what it is to tailor a program for each individual.
